Can this be used with LLMs other than the OpenAI API?

Yes, it works out-of-the-box with any OpenAI compatible API, including Ollama.

You can check out our example at https://github.com/circlemind-ai/fast-graphrag/blob/main/exa...

it would be nice to see an example that uses ollama - given that ollamas embeddings endpoint is a bit... different, I can't quite figure this out

Hey! Our todo list is a bit swamped with things right now, but we'll try to have a look at that as soon as possible. On the Ollama github I found contrasting information: https://github.com/ollama/ollama/issues/2416 and https://github.com/ollama/ollama/pull/2925 They also suggest to look at this: https://github.com/severian42/GraphRAG-Local-UI/blob/main/em...

Hope this can help!

litellm has ollama, you could go through that

Welcome to the real world. This experience is far more representative for the vast majority of the population than we usually see on HN.

Being successful is also why it's better. PyTorch has a thriving ecosystem of software around it and a large userbase. Picking it comes with many network benefits.

Has anyone tried working with the datasets they relied on?

+1 for Understanding Power. It taught me how to apply my research skills to things that matter, as well as how to read the news.

Why is AI scrutinized while Search, Social, and Streaming all get a free pass?

There is no evidence how the document, commissioned by the Trump team while vetting Vance, got out. I'm reminded of Facebook suppressing the New York Post's Hunter Biden story in 2020, minus any noteworthy revelations.

This page is just a container for a youtube video. I suggest updating this HN link to point to the video directly, which contains the same links as the page in its description.

On the contrary, I saved you that extra step of looking for Sebastian Raschka's repository of writings.

He shares a ton of videos and code. His material is really valuable. Just support him?

Why not support the author's own website? It looks like a nice website

Texas Monthly can go toe-to-toe with the New Yorker.

The data is already incorporated into existing models. Those models will generate derivative data used to train the next models. They only needed to rip it all off once, after that it's actually preferable to not let anyone do it again.
