Thank you! Appreciate the compliments :) hopefull Kids liked Nomu our mascot :)

Maths app made to make practicing basic maths fun for my kids and to make sure they do problems in a repetitive manner.

Key aspects: - Basic courses in a hierarchical manner including Addition, subtraction, multiplication, multiplication tables etc. - Automatically increases the difficulty of problems as your child learns and becomes more proficient. - No Ads / In App purchases and only a single one time fees forever - Parental monitoring. When the child starts working out problems, you will get a whatsapp message asking whether you need updates of whats going on. The app will tell you all correct and mistakes your kid did so that you can help them if you see a pattern. - It also alerts you if the child has moved away from the app to some other app so that you can give a phone to your child and not worry about whether they are doing something else.

I know there is a lot to do and this is merely a start. I would very much like to know your thoughts and opinions on how to improve this for all our kids.

If you do not want to pay for the app to try it, please drop me an email at info@nomu.ai and I will include you as an internal tester and you can test for free.

Your feedback will be very much appreciated.

Really nice. I was looking for something to use on my blog. I will try this out now.

Shameless plug : I coded a very small CSS library that will also be a good fit for a blog :D Check it out !

I like the minimalism, but I wish the buttons had something on hover or on click (e.g. invert the colors). You should give user feedback that it's a clickable button and it has sent the form

That's actually a great idea, thanks :)

Very clean. Reminds me of nutrition info labels.

Haha you're right it does have that vibe

or they have already found em aliens

twiddles thumbs

It's certainly preferable to the old situation where more than half of the _world_ was owned by less than 1% of the the British.

it’s certainly preferable, but that is just once slice of data at one time... what is more important is the trend... are we in the midst of a huge reversal back towards those times?

it would seems so, and if so, i would argue it needs to be stopped before it becomes completely intractable...

There's a sobering book "The Great Leveler" that argues that the only time growing inequality is reversed is during large scale war or other mass death event like plague.

Both Thomas Piketty and Branko Milanovic have made similar arguments in their respective tomes. The 1950s to 70s in the West were an exception, maybe.

Funny that nobody seems to feel that way about the Romans

what did the romans do for us?

I didnt know about location history and web & app activity. It is indeed quite hidden and when I disabled them, i saw along with web and app activity, there was a bunch of other history google was storing like search history, browsing history etc. The really evil bit about Google is that, even when you disable them, Google does not delete the already collected history, they just "PAUSE" that so that they can keep old history.

penny wise, pound foolish

Million wise, billion foolish?

At least its good to know that you are not alone.

really? dropbox does a better job with the sync for me, across all devices.

I guess that's true, but I personally use Drive more than Dropbox, and I just wanted that choice to be there.

It works on google drive and pretty much everywhere else as well but it's open source

if emacs?! why this?

because mac != emacs
