Battery seems bigger problem to me, when comes to solar energy.
If something like "Astrophage"(from Project Hail Mary) would really solve such problem.
Not an electrical engineer so would love to see opinions on cross-continents grids and challenges with it, because I think that could solve lot of storing energy problem but seems like might introduce new transmission problem !
This I have seen with photos, they seem to have uploaded in phon and then they don’t show up later and when you open again there is just empty image block.
I really hate how slow and sluggish at times notion is. Still not better alternatives with formulas and databases.
True, have seen system from inside. Have seen people of my generation still clinging to it.
Most of places I see it, is for economic reasons(priest job, reservations both are side of coins) and some have nothing to boost other than caste and no other incentives.
Always hoped education will get rid of this system that has turned evil, but that hope has also gone as western education system has nothing to offer. Probably some indigenous education reform might help, but would love to see some PhD or researched guy’s comment
Would love to see some solutions to this problem. One that I have heard is inter-caste marriage(haven’t researched much), but would love to see some more solutions for this problem or just no hope than another Shankaracharya.
If interested we can have website dedicated to solutions eradicate this system by offering people what this system gives them.
Also I think we can’t get rid of any system without offering replacement for it especially for huge and highly knitted society as Bharat.
Yes, I'm in Vivaldi as well. For now! We need to avoid making software/product choices part of our identity.
A true firefox fan would've raised the alarm years ago, and voted with their feet when it kept moving in the wrong direction and stopped being the best option on the market.
Loving a brand no matter what they do is suboptimal.
> Are you completely fine with incest between consenting adults?
The act, yes. The only argument I can think of against it would be that a birth resulting from such a union would carry a very high risk of defect. Assuming effective birth control, it's none of my business.
> How about self-mutilation?
Yes, without reservation.
> Is it strictly wrong to prevent people from committing suicide?
Absolutely not. If you don’t want to be around someone who isn’t vaccinated, set up an area on private property where they aren’t allowed. Your property, your rules.
> It's also wrong to force people to wear clothes in public?
Yes.
> Is it wrong to discourage someone from lying?
Sure. Fraud is a crime, lying isn’t.
> What if someone doesn't see the edge of a cliff and are about to step over it?
A bystander has no requirement to intervene.
> Would you pull them back from it?
Yes, without question. Just because something is the right thing to do doesn’t mean it should be the law, backed with threat of violence.

I thought your argument was about autonomy. If you had pulled them back, it would have been the result of thinking that you know better than the person about to accidentally walk off the cliff and acting on it.
I can see you have a strong distaste for moral busybodying, but I think there is an argument for discouraging people from wandering into unforeseen circumstances (not necessarily by the state).
Imo dairy isn't good if done via industry model i.e. central company provides value for all. All cow in central place, profit oriented. Old cows thrown for slaughter, it becomes very inhumane.
Coming from village where cow is part of family and treatment like family and has name as we do, then same dairy become very beautiful relationship.
You do realize that in order to get milk from a cow there is a precondition that ultimately leads to slaughter anyway? Unless you can afford keeping every calf and won’t exploit them for milk further.
When that named cow gets old and dies, does it get buried in the family cemetery along with the rest of the family? Do you mourn for it? Or perhaps, it turns into a steak of some form or another?
