Good for her! Milk is one of the most nutritious foods you can get. Lots of protein, vitamin B12, calcium, riboflavin etc. It reduces the risk of osteoporosis -- important for ageing people -- and tends to reduce blood pressure.

And the downside that it may increase the risk of prostate cancer in men is one that your mother doesn't have to worry about ;-)
