I'm using ubuntu LTS, 32 bit is working good for me, only google chrome and newest Android SDK is missing. I will switch to 64 bit when the next LTS is released.

Sorry, just curious - doesn't 14.04 LTS have a 64-bit version? I think I ran it for a while (I don't always stick to LTS though).
