I haven't really been following self driving closely, but this looks way better than i was expecting. Those streets were very busy, and it mostly did ok. I thought city driving was just off the table, and all the focus was going to be on long haul highway driving.



That video shows the worst performance of the system. On less busy streets it usually does much better. Highway driving has already been solved. City streets is the missing part from FSD (which is now in beta).

Would you pay for what you saw in the video?


I would pay for a device that would detect and alert me about an FSD-enabled car being nearby so I can keep as much distance between me and them as possible.


no, but in general I wouldn't pay for any beta test. I would drive around in it and report bugs if they paid me though. (incase anyone from tesla is reading)
