Our is the two together : Speaker/Writer + Reader/Audience. When I am writing something with the mindset of explaining it to others, even code comments, ours feels more natural to me. Imaging a person sitting across the table, and we are demonstrating something. So instead of saying, "Now I am going to turn this nob", it feels more natural to me to say "Now We are going to turn this nob".
