It’s not weird to think it’s the best and that the best is bad. What is weird is to be angry about it.

Why? My phone is as close to a physical extension of my mind as anything I can imagine ever existing short of implants I'm unsure I would care for.

I guess I can only hope we fix these problems before everyone starts putting "smart" contacts in their eyes.

Sure - but why the anger? Why not direct the anger at Linux. Everyone goes on about how philosophically great it is. Why not be angry that it doesn’t deliver on experience and features?

>Why not be angry that it doesn’t deliver on experience and features?

Because Apple practically has unlimited resources and power while Linux and its ecosystem doesn't?

“Apple has practically unlimited resources and power”

This statement isn’t grounded in reality. If it were, it would make more sense to be angry that they haven’t solved world hunger and ended the threat of nuclear war.

Why shouldn't we be angry about a declining quality of a good product?

It’s obviously not declining. More and more people are choosing it.

Huh? How can you draw that conclusion from that data? Just because people are moving to the best option does not mean that option is not getting worse.

It has more features, reviews generally indicate improvements, and consumers are choosing it.

Anyone claiming that it is getting worse is making an extraordinary claim that needs data to support it.
