I'm biased, but I think FullStory is really useful for seeing where people are hitting hiccups when trying to use your software, and you can often tell what they were trying to do, e.g. clinking thr visa icon instead of the credit card button in a checkout form.



I was going to look this up, but it seems at least one of the people that maintain my pihole's lists have already blocked the domain. In any case, I like not being monitored in real time.


The whole concept of real user monitoring is that it allows you to detect erroneous patterns in how they specifically use your product, so that you can ideally fix said problems if they're common enough. I'm not wildly excited over the idea of being tracked either, and ideally this is something driven via the site offering the service, but it can be a very valuable tool for FE devs to figure out why customers are having a negative experience without having to tell you explicitly, which is great.
