This book offers insights into conducting customer interviews without inadvertently guiding them towards giving the answers you want to hear, or asking them to forecast whether they'll use your product.
I searched the thread to make sure someone mentioned this because I found it very useful. It encourages you to ask customers about real experiences instead of opinions, and gives you ways to identify things they care enough about to invest time/money into.
