It's kind of ironic that there isn't a decent business model for folks who build tools that uplift the productivity of MILLIONS of devs.

I'll just say that even though Linux is FOSS, RedHat still became a multi-million dollar company.

Likewise Travis Oliphant was able to build things like Anaconda and Quantsight to monetize some of these essential open source tools.

With wide enough adoption, almost anything can be monetized at some level.

I don't think it makes money yet.

They've said the eventual plan is services [1].
