- Shows how CoCs can be and often end up being used in toxic ways.

Is Remi the sole active developer or why did no other dev chime in to defuse the discussion?

I'm all for open source projects sticking to their vision and standing up to unreasonable user demands but it really is in your own best interest as a developer to learn to communicate effectively - and keep an open mind for feature requests that sound unreasonable to you and first make sure if you understand what is being asked for.
