The headline and article language are from an Onion article - ‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens - from 10 years ago that regularly gets re-posted[0] and even has its own Wikipedia page[1]

I get the sentiment - C is memory-unsafe - but I'm also thinking "you're free to re-write rsync in rust". I wonder if somebody has already done that.
