Hey HN! I am the founder at a24z.

I have been doing software development for over a decade in healthcare, education, and non-profits.

I recently started a24z after talking to over 200 engineering leaders about their largest pain points.

It originally started off as an Observability tool so that engineering leaders can see adoption, ROI, etc. for their engineering organizations, but as teams started to evolve with the way they utilize AI Coding tools, so did the platform I was building.

We are now looking at features that do security scanning, autonomously upgrading your Claude Code with Skills, Plugins, and guardrails to help optimize engineering teams.

Think of us as an in-house Platform Engineer.





interesting! i like how it treats "AI in the org" as an operational problem, instead of just a tooling problem. curious to see how it plays out in practice

Yeah, the space is still developing, but my bet is that we are going to see more conversations on how to improve these across the board and it starts with shifting the solution left.

Who would use something like this? Not a single corp with decent security would ever deploy this.

The alternative right now is that these corps are currently flying blind with what is currently being sent to these LLMs, MCP tools, etc.

There needs to be an audit trail for these Agents and without it we have a severe gap in visibility not only from security, but also improving the process itself.
