So, they had code under heavy use which was not under source-control?



The way I read it is that he added some D code to an existing C++ project's repo.


It was probably in a personal or team repo.


I read it as the facebook repository, the live site. They'd been using it on other internal projects which I'm sure were under source-control.


The project was in C++, in source control, and under heavy use. Now it is in D.
