Are there more environmentally-friendly alternatives than polyurethane foam insulation? The insulation in my home include recycled jeans material.

When building new, you may also want to consider straw bale construction. https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Straw_Bale_Construction is slowly improving.


Cellulose, rock wool, and fiberglass all come to mind. Jeans would be cellulose.
