Swapping the drive on my aluminium MacBook requires removing one screw. I wonder why Apple's new designs don't include this?

I think iMacs used to be easier to upgrade, but now it looks like a nightmare:

It's probably so they can get everything inside the case. Making it user accessible would really reduce their options in placing parts.
